Pastoral Staff

Ed Choi, Lead Pastor

Pastor Ed Choi was born in Seoul, Korea, but grew up in SoCal. He served in the United States Army as a Chaplain and retired in 2014.

He received his MDiv at the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently serving as the Lead Pastor of Lifepoint, the English ministry of Thanksgiving Church.

He has been married to his wife Kathryn for 30 years, and they have two sons and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, short-term mission trips, and cycling for a noble cause.

Daniel Kang, Executive Pastor

Pastor Daniel Kang (also known as Pastor DK) was born in San Jose, but raised in sunny Southern California. He has a deep love for his alma mater, the University of California Los Angeles.

Daniel attended Talbot School of Theology, and is in charge of overseeing logistics and operations at Lifepoint.

In 2014, he married the love of his life Jinna, and now have two boys. He has a great love for the the outdoors, and can often be found wandering in the greater Mammoth and Eastern Sierra area.
